This is Pixel Speedrun unblocked: the web remake is loaded above from pixelspeedrun.com itself, so it runs in an ordinary browser tab on a school Chromebook or laptop — free, with no download and no account. Press Play, pick Classic and beat the clock.
Pixel Speedrun: twenty rooms, a double jump and a clock that never stops
Pixel Speedrun gives you a white square, a dark room and a gold diamond somewhere on the other side of it. A three-second countdown, then the timer in the top middle starts running in minutes, seconds and hundredths, and it does not stop until you touch the diamond on the last level. Dying does not stop it either: the square pops into pixels, reappears at the level start and the clock keeps going.
The version on this page is the free web remake of Pixel Speedrun, the platformer vendara released on Steam in 2021. It was built in Construct 3 and published on the Construct Arcade, and it is served here from pixelspeedrun.com itself. Its menu still links to the official speedrun.com leaderboard, the community Discord and the Steam game.
Classic mode is the twenty levels back to back. The first rooms are a lava strip and a few ledges; level 3 adds orange enemies that fire across the room, level 8 adds locked doors, and level 20 is a tall climb with more than 170 lava tiles and eight shooters. When that feels easy there are four other ways to run it: Collect (grab every coin first), Chaos (random events mid-run), Blind, and five hand-made Challenge levels.
Controls & mechanics
| Action | Control | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Move | A / D or ← / → | The square has no run button; it is always at full speed |
| Jump | W, ↑ or Space | Works from the floor, and off a wall you are sliding down |
| Double jump | Jump again in the air | One extra jump in the air; Settings can show an indicator for it |
| Wall jump | Jump while sliding down a wall | Push into the wall to slide, then jump to kick off the other way |
| Restart run | R | In Classic: back to level 1 with the timer at zero. In Practice: restarts the level and its timer |
| Menus | Mouse or touch | Modes, practice, cosmetics, settings, stats and the level editor |
How to get faster at Pixel Speedrun
- Save the double jump: Your second jump is the only way to correct a bad take-off. Spend it at the top of the arc, not straight away, and you can still reach a ledge you under-jumped.
- Wall-jump the corners: Most levels are tight rooms and corridors. Sliding down a wall and kicking off it is often faster than walking back to a floor gap.
- Use Practice for single levels: Practice lets you pick any level and play it on its own, so you can drill level 20 without running the first nineteen every time.
- Mind the doors: From level 8 the diamond sits behind locked doors. Learn where the door opens before you go for a time.
- Watch the shooters: Orange enemies fire in straight lines. Wait one shot, then cross behind it rather than racing it.
- Reset early, not late: R in Classic sends you back to level 1 with a clean timer. If the first levels went badly, reset there; after level 10 a death costs less than starting over.

Pro tip: A death costs you the whole trip back to the level start, so a slightly slower safe line beats a fast risky one until you know a level. Learn it in Practice, then go for the time in Classic.
